The Flag Painter
Capt. Bob is a retired Mississippi Riverboat Pilot who is now a full time fine artist. Prior to working on the rivers operating passenger vessels, he had an extensive career in broadcasting, commercial art and advertising. While primarily a landscape painter, he recently has begun expressing his patriotism by painting dramatic images of the American Flag.
His renderings of Old Glory convey its strength and endurance through this nation’s years of tribulations and triumph. His flags grace numerous offices, homes, and private collections.
